Privacy Policy — LinkedIn Auto Connect

LinkedIn Auto Connect ("the extension") is a Chrome extension published by Orbit.
This policy explains what the extension does with your data. The short version:
everything stays on your own computer, and nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.
What the extension stores
The extension saves the following in Chrome's local extension storage
(chrome.storage.local), on your device only:
- Your settings — the search keywords, company filter, connection
note text, daily limit, and delay you enter in the popup.
- Usage counters — timestamps of connection requests sent, used to
enforce the daily and weekly caps.
- An activity log — the last 60 status lines shown in the popup,
which may include the first and last name of a profile a request was sent to.
What the extension does NOT do
- It does not transmit any data off your device. The extension makes no network
requests to any server operated by us or by a third party.
- It does not collect, sell, rent, or share personal information.
- It does not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising IDs, or cookies.
- It does not read or store your LinkedIn password or login credentials.
- It does not access any website other than
linkedin.com.
Permissions and why they are needed
- storage — to save your settings, counters, and activity log locally.
- Host access to
https://www.linkedin.com/* — to read the
search results page and click the connection buttons you asked it to click.
Deleting your data
Removing the extension from Chrome deletes all of its stored data. There is nothing
held anywhere else to request deletion of.
Children
The extension is not directed at children under 13 and is not intended for their use.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new
"Last updated" date.
